Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Wo xue Hanyu account, what data will be deleted, and what limited data may be retained for legal or financial compliance.

You can request deletion inside the app or by email at woxuehanyu.mobile@gmail.com.

How to delete your account

  1. Open the Wo xue Hanyu app.
  2. Go to Settings > Account.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion request.

If you cannot access the app, send an email to woxuehanyu.mobile@gmail.com with the subject Account Deletion Request and include your registered email address.

What data will be deleted

  • Account information such as your name, email address, and profile details
  • Saved vocabulary, bookmarks, and study preferences
  • Practice history, lesson activity, and related learning records

What data may be retained

  • Transaction, invoice, and subscription records when retention is required by law, tax, accounting, or payment-provider obligations
  • Limited technical or security logs when necessary to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or comply with legal requests

Deletion timeline

  • Your account is deactivated after the deletion request is confirmed.
  • Deletion of applicable account data is completed within 30 days.
  • Backup removal may take longer based on backup rotation schedules.

Cách xóa tài khoản

  1. Mở ứng dụng Wo xue Hanyu.
  2. Vào Cài đặt > Tài khoản.
  3. Chọn Xóa tài khoản.

Thời gian xử lý

  • Tài khoản sẽ bị vô hiệu hóa sau khi yêu cầu xóa được xác nhận.
  • Việc xóa dữ liệu tài khoản áp dụng sẽ hoàn tất trong vòng 30 ngày.
  • Dữ liệu trong bản sao lưu có thể mất thêm thời gian để được xóa theo chu kỳ backup.
